Nasya - The Breath of Clarity
When the breath clears, the mind follows.
A timeless Ayurvedic therapy that renews clarity, calm, and vitality from within.
In Ayurveda, the nose is revered as “the doorway to the brain.”
Nasya (Nasyam) is a therapeutic oil-based procedure that purifies this vital channel, helping the body release toxins accumulated in the head, sinuses, and neck region.
At Our clinic, each Nasya session is performed with calming, herb-infused oils tailored to your unique constitution.
The therapy not only relieves congestion but also clears:
- Mental fog
- Sharpens focus
- Restores emotional balance-
Allowing you to: - Breathe freely
- Think clearly
- Feel lighter from within
The Therapy Experience
Step 1 – Preparation – Warming the Pathways
Your session begins with a soothing facial, head, and neck massage using warm, dosha-specific oils. This preparatory phase softens tissues, stimulates circulation, and gently opens the channels (srotas) to receive the therapy with ease. The relaxation itself feels deeply restorative – as if your entire upper body begins to exhale its fatigue.
Step 2 – Administration of Nasya Oil
As you recline comfortably, a few drops of warm, medicated oil are instilled into each nostril with precision and care. The oil gently travels through the nasal passages, clearing impurities, lubricating delicate tissues, and stimulating vital energy points. Many patients describe this moment as a “release” – when the head feels light, and the mind feels suddenly awake yet calm.
Step 3 – Herbal Steam & Rest – Integrating the Healing
Immediately after the oil therapy, herbal steam is always used to open the pores, mobilise toxins, and enhance absorption of the oils into deeper tissues. The gentle warmth of the steam encourages complete detoxification, helping you breathe effortlessly. You are then guided to rest quietly while sipping a warm herbal infusion – the perfect ending to a therapy that unites breath, balance, and clarity.

FAQ
Q1. Can Ayurveda really help with depression and stress?
Yes. Ayurveda has helped people for thousands of years by restoring balance between mind, body, and emotions. I don’t just treat symptoms — I work with your constitution to address the root imbalance causing stress.
Q2. Is it safe to combine Ayurveda with modern medicines?
Absolutely. Ayurveda can safely work alongside your current treatment. I always consider your medical history before recommending herbs or therapies, so that your care remains safe and supportive.
Q3. How soon will I feel better?
Many patients report feeling calmer and lighter within days of beginning therapies like Shirodhara or Abhyanga. For deeper healing, steady care over weeks brings lasting results. Ayurveda works gently, but its effects are strong and enduring.
Q4. Will I have to take medicines for a long time?
Not necessarily. My focus is not to keep you dependent on medicines but to restore your natural balance. Herbs may be prescribed for support, but diet, lifestyle, and therapies often create the biggest shift.
Q5. Is Ayurveda only for mild stress, or can it help in severe cases too?
Ayurveda can support both mild and chronic conditions. In severe cases, I may also advise combining Ayurveda with modern care for best results. The goal is your safety, stability, and recovery.
Q6. What makes your approach different, Dr. Ajayita?
Every patient I see is unique. I listen to your story with care, study your constitution, and then design a plan only for you. Patients often tell me they feel heard and understood for the first time. That is where true healing begins.
